A New Lease on Life
Worn: November 26, 2012
I bought this sweater a decade ago this coming January. Initially, I got quite a bit of use out of it, but later my tastes changed and I found it excessively plain. I still loved the fabric and the color, so I held onto it for years. I wear a lot of cardigans and can never find enough in colors, fabrics, and cuts that I like. I was reasonably sure that the sweater was made of non-fraying fabric, and I knew I would never wear it again as it was, so a few days ago I cut the front open in the center, following the ribbing. Now I've got a great new cardigan that I expect to get lots of use from.
